The February schedule is crowded, much to the delight of Shark Tank fans! The month will be packed with new episodes on Friday nights and re-runs on other nights. ABC is plugging in some Thursday and Sunday night re-runs in the February schedule, possibly to test the lucrative Thursday night-time slot for the future.
February begins with a much-anticipated new episode. After a long holiday hiatus with only two new episodes from December 4 through January 25, ABC is unleashing an onslaught of Shark Tank shows. Season 4, which features 24 Shark Tank episodes, is only half way complete. That leaves 12 new Shark Tank episodes through the end of May sweeps month leading into the summer re-run season (and the Shark Tank taping season). Sources indicate there will be at least one more million dollar offer, made by none other than Mr. Wonderful, in the coming months.
February Schedule: New Shark Tank Episodes and re-runs
So far, the February schedule is only half way complete. Friday, February 1 features episode 413 at 9PM. The Friday night Shark Tank crowd is eagerly anticipating fresh meat in the Tank! Sunday, February 3 episode 313 re-runs at 9PM. Thursday, February 7, Lollacup and NailPak rerun in episode 314 at 8PM. Friday, February 8, another new show, episode 415, airs at 9PM. Friday, February 15, episode 416 will air at 8PM.
After barely one week, the February schedule is PACKED with Sharks! As the month rolls on, ABC will announce more shows. It’s Shark Tank “policy” to announce new shows two to three weeks in advance, so more new episodes will be announced in the next week or two for sure.
March Madness Coming
The February schedule may be packed, but Shark Tank fans may see an interruption of new shows during the March Madness basketball tournament. Last season, Shark Tank ran re-runs during the tournament, probably due to a diluted audience. March Madness runs from March 19 – April 8, with several Friday game nights. A CBS/Turner deal, coupled with an enhanced subscription package means more games will be available to watch than ever. Whether ABC and Shark Tank run new episodes head to head with March Madness basketball is still up in the air, but history dictates there will be re-runs during that stretch.
Regardless of the impending NCAA tournament, the February schedule should provide most Shark Tank fans with plenty of action!
