Shark Tank is one of those few reality shows that has multiple versions in different countries. But its success is a result of some of the best Shark Tank moments, which rise above any business focused talks.

It is a no-brainer that the show continues to stay relevant by presenting heartwarming stories, hysterical pitches, arguments, and raw emotions to the audiences. Collectively, they result in moments that get etched in the hearts and minds of fans for years.

Delve into the 4 best Shark Tank moments that managed to keep the viewers glued to their television sets:

1. Cup Board Pro

This pitch was something more than the financial aspect. It tugged the hearts of both the Sharks and the audiences with its heartwarming story.

Here is how Cup Board Pro firmly fixed its position in the list of best Shark Tank moments:

Christian, Keira, and Kaley Young were three siblings who came together to pitch their late father’s invention ‘Cup Board Pro’ on Shark Tank. Their dad was a firefighter who was diagnosed with cancer while he worked for the cleanup of the World Trade Center during 9/11.

Keira played a demo video to show the functioning of the product to the Sharks.

In the video, Keith Young, their father, explained how to use his ingenious cutting board to capture food and liquid scraps. He introduced himself as a firefighter, father, and widower who came up with this idea while finding a solution to simplify his kids’ mealtime.

Once the video ended, the Sharks could not hold back their emotions. Daymond John was in tears as he remembered his family and friends who died during 9/11. Additionally, the story touched him a little extra as he, too, was raised by a single mom.

After this, all five Sharks came together and showed their will to invest $100K for 20% equity.

The best part of the episode came when they declared that all the individual profits would be offered to charity works related to firefighter victims of 9/11.

2. Knife Aid

This was the first time on the show that all the Sharks rushed after the entrepreneurs into the hallway. Their passion to grab a potentially successful deal made this moment one of the best ever.

Let’s rewind to Knife Aid’s Shark Tank Pitch:

Mikael Soderlindh and Marc Lickfett came to the Sharks seeking investment for Knife Aid, a modern version of the traditional knife sharpening service. The entrepreneur-duo revealed that they used e-commerce to offer a seamless service and eliminate the outdated business concept of knife sharpening.

They further elaborated on their plans for the future. The Sharks were supremely impressed by the clear pitch and made their offers one by one. The first one was Lori, who offered $200K in cash and a $2000K line of credit for 20% equity. Kevin was next, offering $400K for 20%.

Rohan joined the negotiation by teaming up with Lori and matching Kevin’s offer. Following this, Barbara and Kevin joined hands and offered $500K for 20% equity.

But things got even more intense when Mikael and Marc requested that they discuss things alone in the hallway. Lori, Rohan, Barbara, and Kevin followed them one after the other and tried hard to make them accept their deal. Ultimately they accepted Lori and Rohan’s offer.

Such a thing had never happened before on the show, which is why this moment is included in the list of the best Shark Tank moments.

3. Wise Pocket Products

This was one the best prepared pitches as a 13-year-old “kidpreneur” went to the tank alone and fearlessly negotiated a fantastic deal with two of the greatest business names in the USA.

Here is a complete breakdown of the deal:

Sofia Overton went in front of the Sharks pitching for her brand ‘Wise Pocket Products’ – socks with pockets. She began the pitch with the help of her friends who performed a small dance wearing her socks.

Seeking $30K for 15% of her company, Sofia explained that she needed money to expand the production. The Sharks were quite impressed to learn that she had self-funded the business with a total amount of $10K – $5K in savings and the remaining $5K from business competitions.

Though everyone liked her pitch, only Lori and Daymond came forward to make an offer of $30K for 33.3%. But the most amazing part of the episode came when Sofia made a counteroffer of $35K for 25% of the company. This was one of the best Shark Tank moments as the other Sharks rooted and cheered for her.

They were all pleasantly surprised with her negotiation skills. Eventually, Lori and Daymond agreed to her offer.

4. Haven

Shark Tank has captivated its viewers with many intense business deals in the past. But if we are discussing the best Shark Tank moments, the hilarious Haven pitch cannot be missed out.

Have a look at what made the Sharks laugh out loud:

The entrepreneur duo of Alex Bertelli and Clay Banks came up with Haven – a unique lock that can help you keep intruders away from your homes. Proposing an offer of $500K for 6% equity, they stated that the lock was nothing but a wedge, which kept doors firmly secured from the inside.

To demonstrate this, they went ahead with a live demo in which Alex was supposed to kick and break open a door secured with a deadlock. While he was doing this, Clay continued saying how Haven could help tackle the issue. But even after multiple attempts, Alex failed to break open the door, which made the Sharks laugh uncontrollably.

Towards the end, he managed to break open the door by flying in like an action hero. This particular moment made this pitch top the chart of hilarity in the show.

Conclusion

Over the years, Shark Tank has left a lasting impression on the viewers due to not just business acumen but also profound human stories. From the emotional relatability of Cup Board Pro to hilarity of Haven, each of the episodes have both entertained and inspired the audience.
