Highlights

  • Shark Tank has witnessed thousands of entrepreneurs come up with a variety of products in its history of fifteen years.
  • Many of the products have received huge investments from the Sharks due to their useful nature.
  • From Springer to DrainWig, here is a detailed description of the products that can help you with your daily household chores.

Fifteen seasons and hundreds of episodes later, Shark Tank continues to win the love of its global fans. Over the years, viewers have witnessed entrepreneurs come up with the most innovative pitches for their Shark Tank products. While some have earned heaps of praise from the Sharks, others have been called out to be gimmicky.

But if you look through all the products introduced in different seasons, many solve the daily purpose of your homes. Be it time-saving kitchen supplements or sustainable pet products, these items are hard to miss.

Below is a curated list of the best Shark Tank products for your homes that are worth the time and money:

1. Bottle Bright

An effervescent cleaning tablet, Bottle Bright, helps remove stains and odors from portable drinkware. The product is easy to use, chemical-free, and efficient in cleaning the hard-to-reach areas of bottles without any additional scrubbing.

To get a completely clean bottle, you just need to put the tablet in a bottle filled with water, shake it, and discard the solution.

The product received decent traction after its appearance on the show. You can find it on Amazon.

Here’s a quick Shark Tank Recap:

Seth Friedman and Justin Koehneke were two mountain biking entrepreneurs hailing from Vermont who approached the Sharks seeking $75K for 15% equity. Lori was the only Shark who showed her interest and offered $75K for 35% equity.

After some negotiations, the deal was finalized with her at $75K for 33%. The brand found success and got its products on Bed, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Amazon, and Bath and Beyond. But in 2016, Hydrapak acquired it for an undisclosed amount.

2. Springer

To put it simply, Springer is a portable water bottle carefully designed for dogs. Unlike other bottles, which result in a huge mess in your homes due to water spillage, this product comes with a bowl on top.

Once you squeeze the bottle, the bowl fills, and you can offer it to your pup. When it’s done drinking, all you need to do is squeeze so that the water drains back into this BPA-free plastic bottle.

The best part is that it is free from leakage and equipped with a carabiner that can be clipped on a backpack. You can find it in multiple sizes on Amazon.

Let’s rewind to Springer’s Shark Tank Episode:

Griffin and Shannon Ross, a sibling entrepreneur-duo came to the Sharks seeking $400K for 6% equity. Mark, Daymond, and Robert were out due to inadequate sales, high valuation, and large salaries respectively. Kevin and Lori offered their deals. Eventually, the Ross siblings picked Lori at $400K for 10% equity.

The company’s current annual revenue is projected to be $2 million.

3. DrainWig

DrainWig helps you avoid the disgusting hassle of cleaning clogged hair from dirty drains in your homes. The product is available in two retail designs: DrainWig for showers and DrainWig for bathtubs. Both are nothing but chains that hang inside a drain. Once hair gets trapped, it hangs onto the chain.

As soon as the drain starts running slowly, you can pull up the chain and throw the dirty, clogged hair attached to it into the trash. Thus, you never have to touch it. The product further eliminates the need for any chemical drain cleaner.

You can find it on Amazon and Wayfair.

Let’s look back on DrainWig’s Shark Tank episode:

Jennifer and Gifford Brigs approached the Sharks with their five daughters to introduce DrainWig. They presented an offer of $300K for 5% of their company. Kevin, Damond, and Lori were intrigued by the pitch and proposed their deals at $300K for 20%, 20%, and 25%, respectively.

Stating that the business could do really well in the hotel industry, they made a counteroffer of $300K for 15%. While Daymond started to talk into it, Kevin interrupted and accepted the offer.

The latest update is that DrainWig is making an annual revenue of $1 million.

4. UnShrinkit

This color safe and hand safe liquid based product is one of those Shark Tank products that can help you simplify your daily household chores.

Generally, woolen clothes tend to shrink upon washing. UnShrinkit can help you solve this problem with its unique chemical composition that allows woolen fibers to relax and get back to their original size.

The product is easy to use and requires you to follow four easy steps, which are mentioned on the label.

UnShrinkit is available on Amazon.

Here’s its quick Shark Tank Recap:

Nate Barbera and Desiree Stolar were two Harvard graduates who came to Tank pitching their product at $150K for 10% equity. Presenting it as a must-have for your homes, they revealed that by 2016, they had sold about 5000 units. After negotiations with the Sharks, they finalized the deal with Mark at $150K for 15% equity.

Barbera left the company in 2016 to work for McKinsey & Company. Additionally, the deal with Mark didn’t close later.

However, the business is still open with an annual revenue of $2 million.

5. Toilet Timer

This product is for those who “poop-procrastinate” and are looking for a pertinent solution to limit their time in the toilet. As the name suggests, Toilet Timer acts like an hourglass sand timer. The only difference is that the sand that you see on its top is inside your belly and the bottom is a toilet.

There are both male and female versions of this unique product.

Have a look at Toilet Timer’s Shark Tank Journey:

Pitching that their product will help “poo-procrastinators,” Katie and Adam Shepley sought $200K for a 10% equity stake. The Sharks laughed during the entire pitch. While the other Sharks expressed their apprehensions, Mark made an offer of $200K for 20% equity. The entrepreneur couple happily agreed to it.

The latest update about the company is that it generates $250K to $500K in revenue per year.
