Charlotte Trecartin’s CharCharms caught the Shark’s attention after seeing the jaw-dropping revenue figures. Her company sold goods worth $200,000 as of 2023, yet it has gone up steadily on a yearly basis. CharCharm can buy directly from Charlotte’s website but is also featured in major national retailers such as Dick’s Sporting Goods and Target.
What really made CharCharm different is its unique approach of presenting fun and fashionable accessories that personalize water bottles. This innovation marked its position alone against everything else existing. On Shark Tank, both Lori Greiner and Mark Cuban decided not to invest. Still, Daymond John and Kevin O’Leary were interested. They proposed an offer of $300,000 for 20% of the company. Kevin also added that he could distribute the product more in retail.
Mark Cuban, however, suggested Charlotte be careful with these offers. She was attached to her business and did not want to sell more than 15% of the ownership.
