Are you a cat person? If yes, then you would love what Frame Your Feline offers. Entrepreneurs Brian Vermeire and Kristina Hughes entered Shark Tank Season 16 with their unique creation: reimagined cat shelves.

The entrepreneurs came up with the idea of feline frames as an alternative to traditional cat trees, as they didn’t want those to be aesthetically unappealing. They had beautiful art pieces and wanted to frame them in a way that could also be a place for the cat to hang out. It led them to the concept of ‘framing the cat.’

Would the sharks be willing to frame a deal with the entrepreneurs?

What Happened on the Shark Tank Episode?

The entrepreneur duo pitched their business with the most adorable presentation. Their product is a reimagined cat shelf. Therefore, they brought cats with them to show how the product looked. All the sharks were in awe.

The entrepreneurs explained that you wouldn’t even have to train the cats to get used to the shelves (frames). They said cats love to scratch, sleep, and play in their Feline Frames. The product is appropriate for all sizes of cats.

Mark asked the entrepreneurs where we could hang the Feline Frame in the house. According to Brian, wherever you hang a piece of art, you can hang the frames as well. The entrepreneur compared his product to the cat tree. He said cat trees are hideous. Daymond agreed.

Barbara pointed out that cats can climb cat trees since there are more levels. There is more surface in the cat tree for the cat to hang out on. However, the Feline Frames have just one frame. Kristina added that the cats can sit above the frame, too.

The sharks asked whether the frames would retain odours if cats soiled them. The entrepreneurs explained that the material they used to build the frames does not absorb smell. It is non-porous, non-toxic, and sturdier than wood. The product retails for $299.

  • The material is sturdy and does not absorb any smell.

Did Frame Your Feline Get a Deal on Shark Tank?

Since the couple did not have enough sales, it set the sharks a bit off. They shared their thoughts:

  • Mark did not offer any deal because he was disappointed with the numbers.
  • Lori did not make any offers either. She felt the price of the product was too high, and the entrepreneurs weren’t ready to sell it for any less.
  • Barbara also did not make any offers because she didn’t believe the product would sell.
  • Daymond and Kevin did not like the product either.

The entrepreneurs returned with no deal from any of the Sharks.
