Nancy Rothner wants a Shark investor for Pich Me, her aromatic therapy dough, in Shark Tank episode 1217. In addition to running this business, Rothner is a a clinical hypnotherapist who specializes in stress reduction. The concept for her product came to her when she wanted something for her clients that they could take with them and use when they felt stressed.
The so called “placating putty” soothes you as you work it through your hands. Nancy also puts another therapeutic stress reliever to work with Pinch Me: aromatherapy. Pleasant aromas trigger happy thoughts, so adding this component to the relaxing putty kneading ought to un-stress anyone.
A ten ounce tin of dough is $24.99 and a three ounce tin is $14.99. There are twelve scents: Spa, Sun, Ocean, Relief, Zen, Surf, Bumbleberry, Refresh, Chill, Citrus, Spice and Beach. Each scent has a unique color, also designed to be soothing. She also recently introduced Mist Me, aromatherapy mists and scented hand sanitizers. Nancy likely wants a Shark to help blow up her brand.

Pinch Me Shark Tank Recap
Nancy enters the Shark Tank seeking $300,000 for 7% of her business. She tells her story, gives her pitch and hands out samples to the Sharks. The Sharks like the scents and the sales. She has $5.3 million in lifetime sales; 2019 sales were $1.9 million and 2020 sales were down (due to the pandemic) to a projected $1.2 million.
Kevin offers $300,000 for 25%. Robert matches that offer. Then Daymond jumps in and offers $300,000 for 20%. When Nancy asks if Robert or Kevin will match that, Robert says he will and Nancy does the deal with Robert.
Pinch Me Shark Tank Update
The Shark Tank Blog constantly provides updates and follow-ups about entrepreneurs who have appeared on the Shark Tank TV show. There is no evidence that the deal with Robert closed. That said, the first re-run of this episode occurs just 4 months after the original air date. Due diligence on a Shark Tank deal can take as much as a year. I will update this page as new details emerge. Annual revenue as of July, 2021, is $1 million.
