Does Kevin O’Leary Want To Relive A Day In His Life?

Answering this question, the Shark investor stated ‘None of them.’ While his response may confuse many, Kevin gave a detailed explanation that offered a big picture of embracing the future.

The Shark investor further said he is a ‘culmination’ of every day he has lived. So, if possible, he would only change a certain thing and not ‘mess’ with time. Why Did Kevin O’Leary Emphasize Looking At The Future?

The key takeaway from the Instagram post of Kevin O’Leary is to stay focused on the future, not the past. Kevin’s reflection reiterates that the future is where actual growth and opportunities exist. So, just as the Shark stressed, one should keep looking forward and evolve.

Kevin O’Leary’s previous Shark Tank investments are also great examples of how his decisions in the past will yield him amazing value through returns in the future. Below are the Shark investor’s top three investments made on the show:

1. PRx Performance

Brought to the Shark investors by the entrepreneur duo of Erik Hoppestad and Brian Brasch, PRx Performance presented a line of weight-lifting racks that could fit into any small space. Seeking $80K for 10% equity, the duo emphasized that their products were made in the US.

While the other Shark investors backed out, citing PRx Performance’s infant stage, Kevin O’Leary proposed $80K for 20% equity. Erik and Brian accepted his deal.

The duo’s fitness industry-based venture has been doing great after Kevin’s deal on Shark Tank. In just three years after the show, the revenue growth of PRx Performance grew by 742%. Based on it, the company was listed twice in the Inc. names of fastest-growing private businesses across the nation.

As of October 2023, with a lifetime sales of $200 million, PRx Performance was the 11th highest earning Shark Tank company.

2. Wicked Good Cupcakes

Tracey Noonan and Danielle Desroches, a mother-daughter entrepreneur duo, appeared before the Shark Tank judges with ‘Wicked Good Cupcakes.’ Seeking $75K for 20% equity in their baking venture, the duo claimed that their projected sales for 2012 were about $360K.

Although the other Shark investors were apprehensive, Kevin O’Leary showed an interest. After intense negotiations, the mother-daughter duo accepted his offer of $75K for $1 royalty per cupcake until he recouped the invested amount. Once he got it back, the royalty would get down to 45 cents in perpetuity.

Wicked Good Cupcakes’ journey post Shark has been exemplary, with $40 million in sales. Kevin O’Leary, too, has been getting excellent results by making over $1 million in royalties through the deal.
