In the ever-evolving landscape of culinary innovation, there’s a sweet spot that’s often overlooked—the intersection of indulgence and health consciousness. Nestled in this realm is No Where Bakery, an award-winning purveyor of guilt-free desserts founded in 2020 by the dynamic duo, Maurizio and Saphira Rasti. From their humble beginnings in a modest two-bedroom apartment in Los Angeles, this woman-founded and minority-owned company has swiftly risen to prominence, captivating taste buds and hearts alike with their delectable creations.
Trade Show Debut
The spotlight recently shone brightly on Nowhere Bakery as they made their tradeshow debut at the prestigious 2023 Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City. Renowned for their clean-label sweet treats, No Where Bakery quickly earned the moniker “The Cool Kids” of the dessert scene. Their allergy-friendly cookies and brownies, crafted with gut-friendly, minimally processed ingredients and zero refined sugars, have garnered a devoted following, including wellness-savvy celebrities like actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
Selected as one of ten emerging brands to exhibit at the Fancy Food Show, No Where Bakery proudly represented the BIPOC community as part of a cohort dedicated to amplifying underrepresented voices in the food and beverage industry. Their participation in the show marked a pivotal moment in their journey, signaling their ambition to expand their distribution footprint beyond the West Coast and introduce their delectable treats to industry tastemakers and buyers.
No Where Bakery: the Beginning
The story behind Nowhere Bakery is as heartwarming as their cookies are delicious. It all began as a culinary love letter between Saphira and Maurizio, fueled by Saphira’s history of food intolerances and digestive sensitivity, and Maurizio’s insatiable sweet tooth. Frustrated by the lack of treats they could enjoy together, the couple embarked on a mission to create indulgent desserts that would cater to Saphira’s dietary needs without compromising on taste. Thus, Nowhere Bakery was born.

My Take on No Where Bakery
I usually try every food product on Shark Tank and when I try this, I’ll note my reactions on the Nowhere Bakery page on this site. While I generally stay away from sweets, the occasional indulgence is allowed. The fact that they use clean ingredients and are gluten free is a plus too. Cookies made with their cookie mix are only 90 calories. I am IN.
Do Sharks Eat Cookies?
Both Mark and Lori are into clean eating, so they’d be the most appropriate Sharks for this venture, although Barbara has had success with food products too. Mark usually makes an offer for foods he likes, so the taste will be important for him. The same goes for Lori. Mr. Wonderful generally doesn’t invest in food products, so I think he’ll be out. As for Jason Blum, I have no clue.

Thank you for the feature, just a slight adjustment request – our business is Nowhere Bakery. Not No Where 🙂

Just watched this on Yiutube, and licked up on the Aussie accent, still there somewhere… Melbourne (where I am)?
