The Original Runner Company Entrepreneur, Julie Goldman, pitches the Shark Tank investors on her unique wedding runners which take any event to the next level of elegance.
The company focuses on their flagship product, the wedding runner, but also offers other products such as ring pillows, banners, table runners, Mazel Tov Bags, flower petal bags, Chuppah covers, garters, parasols, kneeling pillows and announcement flags.
The product recently appeared on the view when the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton took place. In addition, the wedding runner showed up in the recent movie, Arthur.
The company has updated their online store and blog in anticipation of considerable traffic from the millions of viewers that watch Shark Tank.
I’m wondering if Goldman took signal from Daisy Cakes, Kim Nelson after her overwhelmingly successful presentation on Shark Tank. With over 75,000 visitors in a matter of minutes, her site was unable to keep up.
Let’s hope that her website will easily handle the traffic. It appears that it should do just fine.
The company blogs regularly and makes it an important part of their marketing strategy. This is great as it is a working testimonial to their products. The blog compliments the site in appearance and works extremely well.
According to tweets and previews of the show, sparks are going to fly. Comments state that if you know Goldman, she’s got a strong personality. I’m excited to see what they mean by that and if that will help or hurt her to land a deal.
Now, you would think this deal would be for Barbara, but I’m not sure if she’s in or not. I’m thinking that she’s definitely a player, but we’ll have to see.
I’m impressed with the online store, the blog and as I understand it, she is even managing her customer database with a company called Infusionsoft. She clearly is on the cutting edge
While we don’t know what her pitch will ask for, my gut reaction is that she’s coming for National publicity and maybe some distribution expertise. This looks like one of the more solid and established businesses to appear on the show.
I would have liked to have read more of a bio page about Goldman. Sometimes customers doing business online like to put a face and a story to the person they do business with.
I’m excited to see what happens and will enjoy writing the follow up review for Wedding Runners.
