Shark Tank Boot Camp is the brainchild of Shelly Ehler and other entrepreneurs who appeared on the popular ABC hit series Shark Tank. The idea is simple: it’s an intensive, one day event that will teach would-be Shark Tank entrepreneurs how to pitch to any size Shark, what do you do IF and AFTER you get the money, developing a business BEFORE looking for money, panel discussions with veterans of the Shark Tank TV show and business, and much more.
Shark Tank Boot Camp Participants
Shelly will give a “keynote” speech and participate in the panels. Other participants include entrepreneurs from past seasons like Mona Weiss and Scott Shields from Eco Nuts, Michele Kapustka from SendaBall, Mike Robinson from Cuddletunes, Dorene Humason from The Chef in Black, Jared Joyce from 5 Minute Furniture, Steven Sashen from XeroShoes, Carmen Lindner from Gotta Have S’more, and more. The Shark Tank Boot Camp website says more than 10% of the entrpreneurs who appeared on the show will be present. There will also be some prominent venture capital types at Shark Tank Boot Camp.
The experiences veterans of the show bring to the table are invaluable, whether they pertain to show strategies or business strategies in general. Every entrepreneur present has had success in their business careers, whether in or out of the tank, and they all bring different skill sets and approaches to business and entrepreneurship that make attendance a priceless bit of entrepreneurial education. If my brother-in-law wasn’t getting married that day, I’d attend myself!
