ABC has announced Shark Tank season 5 casting calls! If you want to apply to be on Shark Tank, one way to do it is to attend a season five casting call. Many Shark Tank entrepreneurs are “discovered” at these open casting calls and over 40,000 people applied to be picked for season 4!
Shark Tank has grown its audience in season 4 and season 5 promises to be even bigger and better. You can read about the application process on our auditions and casting page. If you attend an open casting call, you will need to download an application form to bring with you.
Plan to get in line EARLY as literally thousands of people attend the open casting calls! Make sure you have a polished pitch and samples of your products, it’s hard to stand out in such a big crowd. Bring a folding chair too as lines are long and waiting is the order of the day.

The majority of individuals will just continue going thru the process of trying to get their product, services, etc to market. Maybe help with a mentor to get started is needed. Any issues for Canadians like me applying? Occasionally I’m truly shocked by how obviously horrible some of the ideas are that get on the show. How on Earth do the blatant stinkers get picked over the numerous presumably superior ideas/businesses? Or are all the rejects actually even worse?

I’m so excited! I’m gonna take the plunge and go the the Atlanta auditions this Sunday! My business is VERY new (the website just launched 2 weeks ago), but what can I possibly lose? If nothing else, I will make some great connections while I wait in line, get some great advice from the staff, and maybe…just maybe..meet the Sharks!!!
