Entrepreneurs Featured In Shark Tank Season 16 Episode 10

Carrie Shaltz Haslup’s emotional story of opting for surrogacy to start a family of her own is one big part of the struggle and motivation behind developing a useful baby clothing product as she further opens up about how she stood with Tabeeze for seven long years. Her determination definitely got her a deal in the end.

On the other hand, Charlotte from Chicago was able to impress the sharks with her product, but she opted out because the deal on the table wasn’t feasible for her. Pamela Redmond of Nameberry impressed everyone with her innovative business that deals with unique data on baby names. Last but not least was the mother-son duo of Lisa and Jake from New Jersey who presented their cool cleaning product in front of the Sharks.

1. Charlotte Trecartin

Business Name: CharCharms

  • Char Charms is a functional water bottle accessories brand that makes hydration fun.
  • The brand has grown from a small idea to a nationwide sensation in just four years.
  • By combining practicality with style, Char Charms is redefining reusable bottles

Deal Status: Daymond and Kevin were interested in the product and offered her $30,000 for 20% equity. Daymond came down to 17.5%, but Charlotte didn’t want to go beyond 15%, so she turned down the offer

2. Pamela Redmond

Business Name: Nameberry

  • Nameberry is the world’s largest baby name website, offering a vast database with name meanings, origins, and trends.
  • Founded by experts Pamela Redmond and Linda Rosenkrantz, Nameberry is backed by ten groundbreaking books on baby names.
  • Based on the zodiac signs and other info, it can suggest a variety of names from its reliable database.

Deal Status: Pamela Redmond was seeking a partner for AI integration and someone who could add a lot of value to her business. Finally, Kevin made an offer of $350,000 for 33.3%. Panela counter-offered 24.9%, and the both agreed on the decided deal.

3. Lisa and Jake

Business Name: Rinseroo

  • Rinseroo’s slip-on hose cleaning product revolutionizes rinsing, cleaning but the best part is it is patented.
  • It easily attaches to showerheads, sinks, or tub faucets, eliminating the need for buckets.
  • With its “Kick the Bucket” tagline, Rinseroo saves time and effort in everyday cleaning tasks.

Deal Status: Lisa and Jake were the mother-son duo that introduced their brand Rinseroo. They started by reading Lori Greiner’s book and then ended up getting a golden ticket from her which means the shark will match her offer of $343,000 at 5% equity.

4. Shaltz Haslup

Business Name: Tabeeze

  • Tabeeze revolutionizes baby clothes with patented shoulder flaps for easy, fuss-free dressing.
  • Made from 100% GOTS Certified Organic and Fair Trade Certified materials, Tabeeze is committed to sustainability.
  • As a proud B Corporation, Tabeeze donates one bodysuit for every purchase to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital NICU.

Deal Status: Shaltz shocked the sharks by revealing how she has spent a million dollars on the business being invested in it for seven long years. She finally manages to get a deal from Daymond for $100,000 for 33% of her equity

Shark Tank Season 16 Episode 10: Sand Cloud Update

Sand Cloud is a beach towel company that was started by San Diego State University students Steven Ford, Bruno Aschidamini, and Brandon Leibel eight years ago with the funding of Robert Herjavec. For every Sand Cloud product purchase made, the company makes a donation to the ‘preserve our oceans and marine life’ fund which is a great initiative as it has donated more than a million dollars so far.

They brought in over $30,000 in sales for the first year back in 2014 and today, they have multiple retail stores with several exciting product lines. What’s more interesting is their business, as they have managed to do a whopping $190 million in lifetime sales which is commendable. Owners staying true to their brand positioning and being a part of the beach cleaning programs is one more laudable act in their name.
