Shark Tank Season 16 Episode 12 Pitches

On Episode 12 of Shark Tank Season 12, four amazing ventures made their appearance in front of the Sharks. Some brought food for people and some for animals, from coffee alternatives to products that capture your loved ones’ best memories. All four businesses made the time worth watching.

Kiid Coffee is here to stop you from ever keeping your kids away from coffee. The nice cup of coffee that we usually sip on is not okay for kids to drink. As kid advocates on the subject, Kiid Coffee is 100% safe for kids. It is 99.99% caffeine-free, completely organic, and rich in antioxidants. To make it even yummier, they offer a few flavors too.

GoodLove Foods makes the best kind of gluten-free, allergen-friendly food. The food is so delicious that you’ll want to check the ingredients again and again after tasting it. It comes frozen and ready to bake. Instead of using oils, they use butter for fat, making it a guilt-free treat! The pitch had an interesting segment where some celiac skaters grooved on the company’s jingles.

Happy Birdwatcher

Happy Birdwatcher Co. is a brand that prepares a blend of bird seeds that you can use to attract the bird you like. That is how it stands out from the rest of the products in the “bird food” market. Other feeders don’t provide such effective results when it comes to attracting birds to your yard. Some of the “advanced” bird-feeding companies have modern technologies, but they are either for live recording birds or for notifying you on your phone if your feeder has a winged guest. But Happy Birdwatcher actually helps you bring more birds to your place with the help of bird sighting data.

Remento

Remento send you weekly prompts designed by professional storytellers and scientists. When you fill out those prompts, it prepares a story about you. You can add media as well. You can get a physical copy in pretty colors with beautiful cover pages or stick to the digital story if that suits you better.

Entrepreneurs Featured In Shark Tank Season 16 Episode 12

It is not just the product that decides the course of a business deal, but also how you present the pitch to your potential investors. In Shark Tank Episode 16, all four businesses delivered wholesome pitches.

1. David Sanborn and Ethan

Business Name: Kiid Coffee

  • Kiid Coffee is specially for kids, with zero sugar and 100% natural ingredients.
  • There are different yummy flavors for children that contain vitamins and calcium.
  • Their unique product, which was already doing well in coffee shops, and their fun approach eventually bagged a deal from the Sharks.

Deal Status: Daniel and Kevin offered the same kind of deal to the entrepreneurs. The father-son duo decided to go with Daniel, perhaps believing that their partnership could bring them greater growth and strategic support. The deal was for $50K for a 20% stake, with 5% returned when David goes full-time.

2.Chennelle Diong

Business Name: GoodLove Foods

  • The tastiest of its kind, gluten-free food. It offers biscuits, puff pastries, cinnamon rolls, and pizza bases.
  • Each product sells for $12.99, with offers and sale prices often available on the official website of GoodLove Foods.
  • Gluten guru Chennelle, who offers nut-free, egg-free, and soy-free food, came on Shark Tank seeking investment and mentorship.

Deal Status: After Daniel expressed his discomfort with the business model and Kevin backed out due to the high valuation, Shark Lori and the founder of GoodLove Foods struck a deal for $150K in exchange for an 18% stake.

3. Susan Vandergriff

Business Name: Happy Birdwatcher

  • The company offers an amazing service of preparing unique blends of seeds that suit the birds you want to lure into your backyard.
  • Not just what’s inside the box, but the packaging is also thoughtfully designed—it is eco-friendly.
  • Birdwatching is a fun solution for relieving stress and anxiety with the help of nature, and with Happy Birdwatcher, it is the easiest!

Deal Status: The entrepreneur was seeking $150,000 in exchange for 10% equity. However, the Sharks did not offer a deal but suggested some very beneficial ideas to implement in the business for its growth.

4. Charlie Greene

Business Name: Remento

  • Remento is a unique product that helps you hold on to the memories of your family, friends, or partners. It uses advanced technology to convert your special moments into engaging stories.
  • It is available in a hard copy if that’s what you prefer, or in a digital soft copy if you’re “too Gen Z” for books.
  • You can share it with your friends and family and lock in all your valuable moments for just $99.

Deal Status: Except for Barbara and Lori, all three sharks—Kevin, Daniel, and Mark—were interested in partnering with Charlie on their own terms. Ultimately, Mark offered $300K for a 10% equity stake, to which the entrepreneur agreed, and both parties met their interests.

Shark Tank Season 16 Episode 12: Gently Soap Update

Kristen Dunning came in last season with her Gentle Soap business. Her product is a lifesaver for people who have sensitive skin, as ordinary soaps cause irritable reactions. She closed a deal with Candace Nelson, starting a new journey thereby.

Kristen revealed that as soon as her Shark Tank episode aired, her business took off with skyrocketing speed in selling the bars. More than 32,000 bar soaps were sold that night—the company viraled!

The year before coming to Shark Tank, they did $66K in sales. After closing a deal with Candace Nelson, they made over $1 million in sales the following year. As Candace said on the show, she made sure Kristen got into the beauty retailer Thirteen Lune. And not just that—they are now on Oprah’s Favorite Things as well!

Kristen Dunning is grateful for her community; her people were always there to support her no matter what.

She relies on Google Workspace a lot and believes it saves her energy and time. Whether it’s spreadsheets or AI assistant Gemini, she is very impressed with the job they do!
