In the ever-evolving landscape of fitness and wellness, the quest for the perfect water bottle has become as much about style as it is about substance. But why settle for one or the other when you can have both? Enter David and Joe Ahmadd, the ingenious minds behind The Coldest, a brand that marries impeccable design with unparalleled functionality.
David, a civil engineering graduate from Florida State University, embarked on a journey of entrepreneurship while working in public utilities. It was during this time that his older brother Joe introduced him to an insulated water bottle, sparking a realization that there was room for improvement. Determined to create the ultimate solution for keeping beverages icy cold, David set out to engineer a game-changing product.
Building The Coldest
After a year of rigorous prototyping and testing, The Coldest was born—a stainless steel, double-wall, vacuum-insulated bottle designed to keep water colder for longer periods than any other mainstream brand on the market. With a commitment to excellence, David ensured that every aspect of the bottle was optimized for performance, from its leak-free construction to its ability to fit in 99 percent of cup holders.
But The Coldest didn’t stop at water bottles. David’s vision extended to a diverse range of drinkware and beyond. Recognizing the importance of comfort and quality in everyday essentials, he expanded the brand to include luxurious bedding crafted from temperature-regulating bamboo-derived viscose fabric.
Accolades
True to their ethos of innovation, David and Joe continually push the boundaries of what’s possible. With a dedicated team of local employees and cold testers, they strive to create products that not only meet but exceed expectations. Their relentless pursuit of excellence has earned The Coldest accolades from prestigious publications like Forbes, Men’s Health, and Mashable.
Now, as The Coldest prepares to move its headquarters to a sprawling new facility in Fort Myers, the stage is set for even greater achievements. With plans for expansion and new product development on the horizon, David and Joe are poised to cement their place as industry leaders.
In a world where mediocrity often reigns supreme, The Coldest stands as a beacon of innovation and excellence. From water bottles to bedding, they’ve redefined what it means to create products that are truly best-in-class. And as they continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible, one thing is certain: the future is bound to be even colder.
My Take on The Coldest
My buddy has one of their gallon jugs. He’s an electrician here in Florida and works outside a fair amount of time. It gets pretty hot here in the summer and he says he wants COLD water in that summer heat. We take it out boating too.
I am not currently in the market for a new insulated beverage container. I currently have three, including a Yeti. One thing I know is I won’t have any of them forever: they get lost, they get stolen, they break and they fall off the boat and into the ocean! The next time I’m in the market for an insulated beverage container, I’ll give The Coldest a try.
Do Sharks Like it Cold?
I think this pitch will be a Shark fight. This company does about $6 million a year in sales and it’s been around for 8 years. Sales and the fact that they’re innovating beyond just water bottles will get the Sharks’ attention. If the ask isn’t ridiculous, there will be multiple offers.
