On the other hand, Enda was from Dublin and came to America in 2012. He said that he came to the country for just six months. But things went so well that he is still here even after twelve years.
Both entrepreneurs met in the Irish community in New York. Regarding their professional backgrounds, Paul said he was from mechanical engineering, and Enda was from construction management.

Now that the reason behind the Shark investors’ standing ovation for Taverns-To-Go has been revealed, have a quick look at their pitch and the final deal on the show.
Taverns-To-Go: Shark Tank Pitch
The Irish entrepreneur duo of Paul Convey and Enda Crowley appeared in front of the investors in Shark Tank Season 16 with ‘Taverns-To-Go.’ Through it, they offer a portable backyard bar, which can be delivered and assembled within 90 minutes. The duo sought $400K for 10% equity in the company.
Paul and Enda stated that they came up with the idea owing to their Irish background. Their taverns could work under different climatic conditions, which made them ideal for the continental USA. The company offers over 25 tavern models for users; they can also add their personal touch to them.
While the entrepreneurs started Taverns-To-Go in 2020, sales to date are $2.2 million. Paul and Enda claimed that they were projecting a $4 million sales in 2024. They had appeared on Shark Tank for help with reaching the global level.
How Did Lori Greiner Finalize A Deal With Taverns-To-Go?
The only two panelists interested in making a deal with Paul and Enda were Kevin O’Leary and Lori Greiner. All the other Shark investors exited the deal by saying that they would love to be customers but not an investor. Below are complete details about Kevin and Lori’s offers:
Kevin O’Leary proposed his deal by promoting his Irish background. As the ‘third Irish dude’ and with a promise of ‘blowing out’ their social media, he offered $400K for 30% equity.
On the other hand, Lori Greiner stated that she was ‘on the fence.’ But she chose to propose a deal based on her intuition that people would ‘love’ the product. Her offer was a royalty deal of $400K for a 15% equity, along with a $30 royalty for each bar sold till she recoups her $400K and makes $600K.
Out of the two offers, the entrepreneurs liked Lori’s royalty deal but countered it with 12.5% equity after she got back her $600. But when she refused, Paul and Enda accepted her previously proposed deal.
